KP Chakiat uses bold colours in an impressionist style to create larger than life oil paintings. She uses her paintings to raise awareness about ecological and social issues, and often sells them to support charities. She was one of the artists featured in the 2021 edition of the Guto Ajayu international art book. She lives in Bristol, UK. In her words " My art is colourful, vibrant and sometimes even dark. Art is my way of communication... I express my anxiety at social issues, my love for nature, my concern for our planet,.. all through my paintings. Each painting has a story behind it.."
